A very short visit from an old friend....

It has been quite some time I don’t have a nice talk with Nidz like we use to do ages ago. In the midst of a well planned day dreaming towards of a nice nap of the 1st day Ramadhan (setting my chair facing the wall, and nobody in their right mind will thought that I’m not sleeping) – while my eyes screaming to my brain nerves longing for 20 mg of nicotine, my door was knocked hard.
I almost jump from my chair but managed to control my system by mumbling something nice in greeting these old friend of mine. Its not that we are parted, but simply just because we don’t have the time…buy that? Nah….ok, we’re not ‘ngam’ anymore. Why? No correct answer to that actually….people changed! In order to change they have to change their type of friends too I supposed. Still not convinced? No? That’s your problem then….
The introduction was mild though…talking about the new guy works installing the new attendance reader was nothing to perfection. I defended the guy by saying that it’s ok since it’s temporarily installed. Maybe because the spirit of Ramadhan, I defended the guy well and the guy is his.
Then he started to tell about his current life turbulence! His dad got a stroke last week and to date nothing is moving but slight moves of the eyes. He didn’t dare to look to my eyes while telling me all this. There you are…you don’t have to hide it from me! Its normal a grown man loves his dad too much and couldn’t bear to watch the old man motionless in bed.
‘Its not only that, I got a bigger problem" he wanted to continue but was interrupted by an incoming call. Ahh…what da oops… puasa! Somebody from Kurnia called and after I managed to shut the insurance guy up and when I turned to Nidz, he already left.
